Thesis I is finally over, but I have to walk in next semester with my full manuscript. I have an idea of what I want to do to get this done with the least amount of stress.
Now- Dec 22nd
- Read 4 books and take notes (I wanted to check out Absurdism.)
The Stranger by Albert Camus (check!)
Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison
V by Thomas Pynchon
Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett
Just a little side note that it's ridiculous that there aren't many POC or women in the absurdism category.
-Look at what I have so far and think about the shape.
- Revise what I have already written.
- Brush up on the dreaded Adobe Photoshop (and shortcuts for InDesign).
Dec 22nd- Jan 10
- Write new stories (2-3 at least)
Jan 10- Jan 29 (First day of spring semester!)
- Edit and Revise
I already have a 30- page story that I got the okay from one professor. I sent it to my Thesis I teacher for a second opinion. I really want to include this story and then the ones I did this semester, with some "interludes" (1-4 page stories). I can't go over 75 pages for my manuscript, so I'm going to cross my fingers.
